Synopsis
South African sprint runner Oscar Pistorius was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Created with no fibula in either Pistorius' legs were amputated below the knee before one turned. After competing in several school sports, he took up running at 16 and at the 2004 Athens Paralympics had got a gold within just a couple of months. Early Life
Oscar Leonard Carl Pistorius, the first amputee athlete came to be in Johannesburg, South Africa, on November 22, 1986. The son of Sheila Pistorius and Henk, Oscar Pistorius was the middle child. His family, while notable in South Africa, were mostly middle class.
Pistorius' youth was shaped partially by disaster. His parents divorced when he was 6, a fact that mainly led to Oscar's father, a businessman and a strained relationship between he. His mom died when he was 15, the effect of drug complications. Pistorius' own physical well-being was marred at birth. Produced with no fibula in either his parents made the tough choice amputated only before his first birthday.
With some of prosthetic legs, Pistorius was walking within half a year. His big attraction barely slowed in sports, which crossed from cricket.

Olympic Landmark
Following his triumph Pistorius competed against able bodied athletes in several races. Success begat greater focus, and Pistorius was being shortly invited by European race organizers .
But Pistorius' man-made legs happen to be a source of controversy throughout much. Charged With Homicide
